Fleet & roadmap

Hardware emulators can't fake.

Real silicon, real sensors, real quirks. The rack today is six Pixel 7a — the rest is hardware we intend to buy, marked as roadmap below, and what we buy next is driven by what people ask for.

Physical hardware

Six real Pixel 7a today — Samsung, OnePlus and Xiaomi are on the roadmap. Hosted in the Netherlands (EU) for GDPR data residency. Sensors actually work.

Native ADB & automation

Authenticated ADB over Tailscale. Use your local toolchain — Android Studio, scrcpy, adb — or drive it headlessly from Appium, Espresso & CI.

Sub-second connect

Devices stay warm. Heartbeat every 5s. Reserve a slot and you're in a shell, instantly.

Why DeviceRent

Real hardware shouldn't be a privilege.

Emulators quietly lie — about sensors, cameras, thermals, and timing — and the bugs they hide land on your users instead of in your test run. Traditional device farms bury real phones behind proprietary UIs, queues, and enterprise contracts.

We think any developer should be able to reach a real, physical Android phone in seconds, drive it with the tools already on their machine, and pay only for the minutes they use — no emulators, no lock-in, hosted in the EU and reachable over a private tunnel.

Built for engineers

Things emulators quietly break.

Emulator bugs that vanish on real hardware.

Biometrics, camera APIs, and sensors only behave when the silicon does. Catch the regressions before your users do.

Tailscale isolation. Your pipeline, secured.

No public ADB port, anywhere. Your shell rides an authenticated, session-scoped tunnel — no port forwards, no jump boxes, no inbound holes in your network.

Verified wipe between renters.

Every phone is cleared over USB and the result is checked before it goes back in the pool. A device that cannot prove it was cleaned goes to maintenance, not to the next renter.

Early access

The fleet is small, and you decide what grows it.

Six real Pixel 7a phones, hosted in the Netherlands — that is the whole rack, and the live count above is not marketing. Tell us what you need a real device for: we'll email you when one matching it is free, and your answer decides which phones get bought next.

Want the longer version? See what we can and can't do yet.

One email when a device is ready. No newsletter, and we don't share your address.
